ஏப்ரல் 10, 2004 குமுதம் இதழில் 'கமலை டென்ஷனாக்கிய கேள்வி' என்ற கட்டுரையைப் படிக்கவும். ஒருவேளை இதைத் தாமதமாகப் படித்தீர்களென்றால், 'சென்ற இதழ்' என்ற அடையாளத்தை உபயோகித்து, குறிப்பிட்ட இதழைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்துப் படித்து, பின்பு அதே கமல் விட்டதாக 'தினமணி'யில் பதிவாகி இருக்கும் டயலாக்கையும் பார்க்கவும்! கேக்கறவன் கேனையன்னா கேப்பையில நெய் வடியுதாம்!

தினமணி சுட்டி சரியாக வேலை செய்யவில்லை. தமிழ், தமிழ்/ஆங்கிலம் என்று சினிமாக்களுக்குப் பெயர் வைப்பதைச் சொல்கிறீர்களா?
சினிமாக்காரன் - அதுவும் ஹீரோ - என்றாலே சகலகலா மாஸ்டர் என்று மக்கள் நினைத்துக்கொண்டிருப்பதால்தான் கமல் போன்ற psuedo-intellectual களைக் கூப்பிட்டு தமிழ் அரங்கில் பேசச் சொல்கிறார்கள். அவரும் நடிகர்தானே? அந்த நேரத்தில் என்ன பேசினால் சரிப்படுமோ, அதைப் பேசி கைதட்டு பெற்று ஊருக்கு வருகிறார்.
அடுத்த நிகழ்ச்சியில் என்ன பேசவேண்டுமோ அதைப்பேசி அங்கும் கைதட்டு.

What Kamal said in Singapore was about Tamil being abused in the way it is spoken (vucharippu) and the way some people consider it beneath them to speak in Tamil in Madras.
What Kamal said in 'Flight 172' function was some English words has become part of the Tamil language. Even though he always names his movies in Tamil only he is going to give his next movie is a mixed title.
Now what is the connection here and where is the andarbalti? These are 2 different things...try to understand that.

You still dont get it... do you? I would suggest that you do your investigation into other languages for ex- English and its generous use of foreign words in the everyday language. Now are you going to tell me that English has not grown or widely accepted because of the borrowing from other language.
It is not Kamal who is advocating not using pure Tamil, understand that first. He merely mentioned the trend in Madras of Tamil being kochaified. In fact whenever he uses pure Tamil, I have heard people ridiculing him... calling him as medhavi and what not. I wonder what is your stand on this?
